The Amber Rhino is probably the most powerful UV lamp for amber hunting on the market!
The lamp is designed with 15 LEDs and a full 225 watts — powerful enough for visibility up to 300 meters. The powerful LEDs make it particularly suitable for wide beaches where long range is crucial.
The light cone is very intense and only 40 cm wide at 2 meters distance. This means that the cone can easily break the water surface, allowing you to spot amber lying in shallow water or between reefs. The lamp is waterproof (IP68), so you can safely work close to the waterline without worries.
As standard, the Rhino runs on 4 powerful 18650 or 26650 Lithium batteries, providing an impressive 2–5 hours of burn time despite the powerful LEDs. The lamp can also be shortened to use only 2 batteries — making it easier to carry. 4 batteries of the Keeppower brand (tested for 500 cycles) are included.
